Praise Jesus. Dont you love the stars? To me, they are amazing. It's amazing how God created the stars. It's amazing how they can shine even in the darkest night and how their position in the sky never changes.

I never really took interest in the stars until i saw Leroy knowing quite a lot about the stars. He shared his knowledge about the stars and we all went star-gazing. It was then i realise how amazing the stars are. It was then i understood those amazing dots above me. That they are always at that same position and no matter how much the world changes, how fast technology moves, those diamonds above will never change and will always shine. It reminds me of how Faithful God is. As if the stars are saying " God is the same yesterday, today and forever" [hbr13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.]

oh, and those were the childhood days. when i was still in elementary school. Still, the stars never cease to amaze me and i've yet to find out more about them. Anyway, so i'll share with you some gospels about the stars. Praise Jesus.

Alright. you know Singapore is so small. but from our sky we can see several stars that's mentioned in the Bible. wow. Thank God. i was elated when i saw those stars. So Singapore's most obvious is,without a doubt, ORION.

so who's Orion? in the greek mythology, he is some guy who killed a bull, Taurus (the zodiac sign). so in our sky, we can actually see the constellations of Orion, Taurus and Orion's two dogs, Canis Major and Canis Minor and the river that he's standing next to, river Eridanus.

well, all these doesnt matter. It's just to tell you abit about orion. Okay. and if you see these SUPER BRIGHT, BIG DOT in the sky and it's a star (stars flicker, satelites dont), it's actually part of Taurus. It's a cluster of Seven stars in one,called the Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters. It's one of the the nearest to earth and since it's seven stars, it looks really HUGE.

and YES. Hallelujah. Those two stars are mentioned in the bible at least two times. okay. Let me show you pictures first. If not i doubt you'll understand.

The most notable feature: the belt of Orion ( the three stars in equal length in one row), also, its right shoulder, is a red star with a diameter possibly larger than the orbit of Mars.

these are the seven stars, the Pleiades.

the close-up, and what you see in the sky. It is an open cluster in the constellation of Taurus.

Wow. They really declare the glory of God. amen? [Palsm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.]

Okay where is Orion mentioned then?

Amos 5:8 8Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:

If you think, what is the Seven stars it is the Pleiades right?. So look at the sky. You'll be assured that God is the creator.

Now think about the Belt of orion. I love to just spend time staring at those three stars. They are always that same length. So in Job (Job is the oldest book in the bible. He lived before Abraham)

Job 9:8-9
8 He alone spreads out the heavens, And treads on the waves of the sea;
9 He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades,And the chambers of the south;

woah. Out of three stars mentioned. We can see two of them in our skies today.

And for those people who question God.

In Job, God told Job.

Job was angry with God. It was actually satan who was attacking him. If only he knew huh?.

so God asked Job. "Do you understand how i created this Earth? In what way, CAN YOU BIND THE CLUSTER OF THE PLEIADES, OR LOOSEN THE BELT OF ORION?"

when i read that. I ran to my balcony to look at the sky. It really amazed me. Cause we can see that the belt of Orion is still that same lenght and the Pleiades is still in a cluster. We can imagine how Long Long Long ago these stars existed (even in Job's time) and till today it still remains the same. They never stop shining, It's not as if one day they decide not to shine, so they off their light and another day they switch on the light again and perhaps change position.

Isnt God so Faithful. He never fails to bring the sun out and set the sun everyday, Never fails to make the stars sign and hold them at their place.
