Christmas is coming! :D
totally love the christmas spirit. yay!
anyway just came back from europe on monday . so i'm gonna blog about the whole trip. i kinda typed everything everday when i was there. so i'm just gonna copy and paste them. Europe was great fun. what spoilt the fun was the fact that was going with a tour and without my friends and family. (well i did go with my mum) so that kinda bored me. but i enjoyed myself, the places were BEAUTIFUL. you'll see for yourself. oh and let me emphasize. the GERMANS ARE REALLY GOOD-LOOKING. teehee!

here it goes...

Day 1 - 8th dec

On the first day, we arrived at Frankfurt after the exhausting 12 and a half hours flight. Thank God for SQ's tv system. It's such a life saver. Now I know why people pay a thousand more for SQ. Unlike cathay, SQ’s tvee system is like your personal tv. Whereas in Cathay, once you miss that movie then too bad. You catch my drift? It’s like in cathay all the movie’s start at the same time, so you go to whichever channel to watch the movie. If you miss that movie to watch another movie, then that’s too bad for you. But in SQ, you get to choose whatever show you want, like a DVD player, only that all the DVDs are inside that chair. They have like games, Microsoft words, lots of movies ranging from english to jap to korean to bollywood . So I watched daddy day care then inconceivable, but just to kill time, high school musical2! Then I watched this jap movie call tears in heaven yes! I cried like maddd! When everyone around me was deep asleep, I was choking on my tears. Yes I cry easily when I watch these kind of movies. Teehee! We arrived at frankfurt at 8+(german time) and off the the hotel - nh hotel. Not bad I guess. Settled down, fixed my utterly out-of-shape nails then turned in. Tragically, my mum woke up at 3 am and couldn't sleep till 5? But due to my long-suffering in the aeroplane, my sleepless 12hours, I slept well the whole night. Hallelujah!

Day 2 -9th dec

Left hotel in the morning. Currently on my way to cologne (as I type this), on the way, I see lots of pastures and houses. Germany is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, so cold yet the pastures are just so alive, and green! Daddy, it's amaing how you've created this world.

1338 (Europe time)- just visited the colonge cathederal. It's really gothic, cause it's black and the designs are really complicated. It was completed in 1880. HOW OLD. So if you're wondering, colonge is part of germany and spelt klön in german, if i'm not wrong.it's where colonge originated. Ahh that's why it sounded so familiar huh? Hoho.

Next stop Amsterdam! Amsterdam is the capital of netherlands, more commonly known as holland. We took a cruise along the cannel in a glass boat thingy. But all I really got to admire was their houses. They are built along the cannel and the design's really unique. And their houses are very open. Like they all have huge windows with no curtains. So you can see through every house and each one of them are beautifully decorated. Unlike the singapore's horrendously messy kind., they have nice paintings and huge bookshelves. It's really cosy; I so wanna live in one.

After dinner, we took a walk through their red light district which, according to the guide, is pretty notorious. Well, that’s because Amsterdam is one country that legalize the trade of prostitution and soft drugs. So we passed by two coffeeshop that sells not only coffee and tea but also Marihuana and Cannabis. And they even have a menu for it! In the red light district they have women posing on those windows, nude and all. What an eye-opener you don't see that in sg hoho! Anyway no photography allowed there.(sadly, for john who seemed quite excited to hear I actually set foot on that street) so I didn't take any photo.

colonge cathedral

it's all black and gothic

btw, it's catholic.

mr.chaplin outside the church :D

light a candle in the church

it's huge i tell you!

i've no idea who's he.

but he bows.
hmmm

amsterdam's dam?

it's 7 bridges in one row

aren't they pretty?!

they move furnitures in through the windows due to the design of the house.

meet me by the moonlight on 10:01 PM
