day3- 10th dec

We set out at 8am when the sky's still as dark as singapore's 6am. Off we go to the windmill village. All thanks to the evolution in technology, windmills have been destroyed all over till today's situation of a miserable 1000 windmills in the whole of holland. So windmills are real useful. To pump water, to saw, to do milling bla bla. The one I went into saws wood! Well there's also lots of boats in amsterdam. House boats are so coool. Eekys! Everywhere you go, you'll see water. Well, that's because amsterdam is below sea level haha! Eeks!

2203- alright we embarked on our trip to belgium in the evening and here I am in Brussels. We got stuck in a bad traffic jam so we kinda arrived late. Had dinner and now I’m resting peacefully in the hotel while my fellow singaporeans should be deep asleep. Anyway, Brussels is gorgeously beautiful. Germany is beautiful, but wow it just gets awfully better. well, they are all beautiful in their own unique way. but I guess I like them all. Like germany has those nice pastures and farms and the Germans are real good looking. They either look really hunky(oh those deep charming eyes) or they have that world war 2 look- those so often depicted in the movies. They never go wrong with their hat. Holland has those narrow houses that always stick together. I love their buildings too. And the dutch people are really tall- all thanks to their huge intake of cheese(calcium). In fact, they overtook usa with the tallest people around. In belgium, their buildings are like amsterdam, all stuck together except that their designs are more intricate or complicated. Whatever you wanna see it as. With streets of shops underneath it. I must admit i'm completely in love with the european feel. The buildings here are way more interesting than those boring sg hbds. I might consider retiring in europe. Hehehe. Anyone in with me? Gotta go bathe now. Belgium city tour tmr morning! Hallelujah!
